Put on your hiking boots and set off on a hike with a view of the Vercors plateau!

Located in the center of Drôme, the Ambel Plateau covers an area of 1231 hectares. At an altitude of 1506 meters, its highest point, the Tête de la Dame, offers an exceptional panorama and breathtaking views of the High Plateaus of Vercors and the Grand Veymont. However, this view is earned, as the hike covers almost 20 kilometers starting from the Col de la Bataille near Omblèze and follows the GR93. It is a challenging hike, but the landscapes it offers are breathtaking. Moreover, situated between the Northern and Southern Pre-Alps, you may encounter particularly rich fauna and flora during your hike. Indeed, during your hike, you might have the chance to encounter deer, foxes, or even gentians and orchids.
