1. COL DE ROUSSET, ICONIC PASS OF VERCORS
For starters: the gateway to the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors nature reserve.
Col de Rousset, located on the southern ridges of the Vassieux-en-Vercors plateau, rises to over 1400m in altitude. It serves as one of the entrances to the High Plateaus Nature Reserve. A little lower, you’ll find a viewpoint that offers an exceptional perspective of the rugged cliffs and the winding road below. In winter, these areas transform into a ski resort with nearly 30 slopes to descend. During the summer, chairlifts quickly take you to the summit for a breathtaking panorama from the orientation table.

2. LES GRANDS GOULETS, THE DRÔME LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN
The road passes through the Petit Goulets, climbs in switchbacks, and continues through tunnels carved into steep cliffs.
Les Grands Goulets are gorges located upstream in the Echevis Valley. The location is accessible on foot or by car, and you will be impressed by the beauty of the landscapes this place offers. It is undoubtedly one of the most sensational natural wonders of the Vercors. You can admire greenery, waterfalls, as well as dry and rocky facades in turn. A true spectacle for the eyes!

Pont-en-Royans is a charming village with narrow and steep streets. An authentic and picturesque place to live. The medieval village is characterized by a unique architecture in Dauphiné with its colorful houses hanging over the void. Since 1944, the site has been listed as a historical monument and even impressed the writer Stendhal.

The Combe Laval road is a dizzying route worth exploring. Indeed, it is a road famous for its path carved into the cliff. The Combe Laval road winds through a grandiose circus, a titanic incision 4 kilometers deep that dominates the Royannais country. The Combe Laval circus is a classified site due to its great landscape interest. From the Combe Laval road, you can admire magnificent viewpoints from dizzying belvederes.
